These organic color grown prefold diapers are 100% pure and soft, organically grown, and free of bleach and man-made dyes. The diapers are minimally processed, and may require 10+ washes to remove the natural oils from the cotton to reach full absorbency. Once the oils have been removed, they are more absorbent than bleached cotton! The birdseye weave and the twill weave are very similar (being made with the same cotton, it is just the weave pattern that is different). The manufacturer recommends the birdseye weave for durability if a Snappi fastener is being used.
