This is the stylish and comfortable, soft structured Butterfly Carrier from Beco Baby Carrier, with a few new and improved features. The Butterfly 2 can be worn front or back, and the carrier's stay put strap can also be used to form a 'hip seat' for a hand assisted side carrying position.
The Beco Butterfly II has a removable infant insert. The new removable insert enables even the smallest babies to ride safely and comfortably, in an ergonomically proper position in the Beco baby carrier. The infant insert is recommended for use when baby is between 7-15 lbs. and can be removed when it is no longer needed. The insert is INCLUDED with all Butterfly II carriers so there is no need to purchase any accessory in order to have a complete package.
The shoulder straps of the new Butterfly II are 2 inches longer than the original Butterfly Carrier, and are attached to the carrier's inside panel. This improves the distribution of your baby's weight making the carrier VERY comfortable for both wearer and baby, and it enables parents to pass baby from one wearer to another without taking the baby out of the carrier. Loading baby on wearer's back is also safer and easier with this inside panel, because it prevents baby from slipping down or falling out.
The Butterfly II carrier is recommended for use with newborns from 7 lbs up to toddlers of 45 lbs. It can comfortably be worn by caretakers between 4'9" and 6'2". DVD instructions included.
