This wonderfully luxurious sleep bag is made in Australia by ergoPouch of all natural, undyed, chemical-free Alpaca. Experts recommend that babies be put to sleep on their backs, on a firm mattress without heavy sheets or blankets in order to reduce the risk of SIDS, entanglement, and suffocation. Sleep bags (also commonly referred to as sleep sacks) are a wonderful way to ensure that your baby is warm at night while getting a safe night's sleep. Even older babies and toddlers who are able to free themselves from twisted blankets will love the coziness of the ergoPouch, as it will keep them tenderly wrapped in softness and warmth since they tend to kick their covers off during sleep. The ergoPouch was designed by a mother who needed a solution to her own son's constant night wakings. She designed the ergoPouch with specialized stretch inserts to allow the sleep bag to fit her baby snuggly, while allowing him to move freely without becoming tangled. She chose luxurious Alpaca for the sleep sack for its naturally hypo-allergenic, breathable, and fire resistant properties. Natural Alpaca resists mites, dust, allergens and odor, and will help to regulate your baby's body temperature for a sound nights sleep. To top it all off, Alpaca is soft as a feather against your baby's skin. This truly is the Mercedes Benz of sleep bags, guaranteeing that both you and your little one will sleep like a baby.

What is a Tog Rating?
The British "T0G" value is the international standard measurement of all blankets' thermal effectiveness (how well it keeps you warm). The higher the number then the better a blanket keeps you warm. The TOG rating describes the warmth or 'Thermal Resistance' of a fabric, and is widely used in the UK to describe warmth levels of duvets and sleeping bags. If the room is warm enough for you to be comfortable wearing light clothing 60-70°F (16 - 20°c) then it is the right temperature for your baby.
